Desert Caravan

Desert Caravan is an event hosted by Ta Tanka lodge annually. It is a fellowship opportunity not only open to Order of the Arrow members, but also any BSA-affiliated troops and Cub packs. Desert Caravan is an event in which troops get to know the Order of the Arrow personally, and vice versa. The Lodge hosts events which every troop could participate in, from tomahawk throwing and archery, to cooking competitions and campfire gatherings.

Scouts are free to invite family, so in doing so, makes this Caravan a unique opportunity to spend time together with family and friends at the same time. The Ta Tanka Lodge Desert Caravan is held this on Thanksgiving weekend in November annually.
